'Gracrane' as we affectionatly called her passed away peacefully yesterday (Monday) just 49 days before her 99 th birthday! Although suffering from senile dimentia she was in relativly good health so it came as a shock to us on Sunday night when she became so ill and we knew this was the end.
She was a lovely wee Granny. Having spent a lot of time with her and Grandpa growing up I am going to miss her terribly, but I know she is with Gramps, her mammy and daddy and her sister Cora now. She talked about them all the time so I know how happy she will be to be with them all again!
Thanks to Cliften Nursing home for all the care and love they gave her over the years she was there, and especially how they were so lovely with us all as she died.
Alan, Anne, Michael, Myself and her great grandchildren Jonathan and Daniel will miss her byond belief but are glad she is in a better place now. 'The Bump' is unfortunate never to have met her, but over the years will grow to know and love her as we tell he or she what a special person she was!
Rest in peace my lovely wee Gracrane and I will meet you and Gramps again one day!
